CALVARY'S KIDS CHILDCARE
Calvary’s Kids Childcare program is offered as a benefit to the children and families who participate with us. We, the teachers and staff, are here to provide the best possible care for the children enrolled in this program. We are also here to serve the will and purpose of God for our lives and the lives of the children placed in our care. Our focus is to provide a stimulating early care and education experience which promotes each child's social/emotional, physical and cognitive development. Our goal is to support children's desire to be life-long learners. We offer both full and part-time programs for families who are in need for pre-school and school-age care for their children. Our program is designed to meet the special needs of toddler and preschool children in a safe and nurturing environment. Our goal is to strengthen the bridge between your work and family life by creating a special place that supports them both. It is also our mission for each child to know that they are loved by God. KIDS CHURCH
Kids Construction is our children's program which provides opportunities for children to learn about God through Sunday morning and Wednesday night activities. It is our desire to fill children’s minds with the Word of God so they will grow to think the way God thinks and live the way God has commanded. To help create and establish habits of godly living ad a daily lifestyle and trust in Christ as Savior, and to submit to Him and to live as Christian’s at home, at school, at play or wherever they are. The vision of Kids Construction is to nurture a love of God and His word in a caring and loving environment. Our desire, as teachers, is to be a living example of God's word, as we teach through scripture based stories, crafts, and play. We prayerfully hope to enrich the children, both spiritually and emotionally, as they grow in faith and knowledge of our Lord, Jesus Christ. This ministry is available for ages 5-11.
NURSERY
Mt Calvary welcomes you to our Nursery Ministry. Our Focus is to provide a safe and nurturing Christian environment for your young child through age 1-4. We love to see children attending church, but we understand that it is not always possible. Mt Calvary Nursery is available on Sundays during the morning worship at 10:30am and Wednesday evenings Family Training Hour at 7:00pm. Your child is important to us and we will do our best to meet their needs when left in our care. We are committed to quality care and are always available to talk with parents to ensure that those high standards are being met. If you are new to our Nursery, we hope you will introduce yourself to us so that together we may build a Christ-centered relationship focusing on your child.
SPROUT'S
Sprout’s is a Wednesday night program that focuses on the ages of 2-4. Our purpose is to create a Christ-centered environment where every child will feel safe and secure and have the opportunity to develop at his or her own individual pace. The learning environment involves children, encourages them to investigate their world and explore culture and diversity while taking an active role in their classroom community. We strive to assist each child in attaining the skills necessary for their social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and spiritual growth. “Train up a child in the way that he should go; and when he is old he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6
TEEN GROUP
Teen Group Ministry is a great place for students to have a time of worship and teaching while sitting with their peers in a group setting. Students have the chance to participate in interactive lessons and discuss questions with their peers. There are also some activities to keep the pre-teen and teens having fun while learning from the Bible. Students are challenged to grow in their faith and reach out to others by setting the example. This ministry is available on Wednesday evenings at 7:00pm focusing on the grades of 6th - 12th
FELLOWSHIP GROUP
Fellowship groups provide opportunities to gather regularly build community and discuss issues of life and faith and activities to promote a Christian social network of fellowship. Whether ongoing or for a defined period of time, fellowship groups create an environment in which to learn and live out the church’s core values of spirituality, community, and peace and justice and provide an opportunity for members of Mt Calvary to gather to discuss issues of faith and life in a prayerful and reflective atmosphere, and to have fellowship with others more than is possible in our large Sunday morning celebrations and Wednesday nights services.
MUSIC MINISTRY
The music department mission is to enrich the service, which includes praise, worship and devotion in song. The gift of music is a treasure to be shared. The Music Ministry department at Mt Calvary offers a wide variety of musical experiences for our congregation of all ages. We are constantly welcoming new members to our ensembles. Whether you are interested in singing or are an instrumentalist of any kind, you can be sure that you will be joining people with whom you will share many wonderful moments of making music and lively fellowship. We are there to assist the worshippers in centering their thoughts upon God and to prepare their hearts for the Holy Spirit to minister to them.
CARE MINISTRY
We desire to show Christ to others in the way that we care for each other. We recognize that lifestyles, life stages, and circumstances alter the health and well-being of individuals, so we want to offer a support system that meets those needs. We are about promoting good health and well-being of the spirit, soul, and body. "And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ--to the glory and praise of God." --Philippians 1:9-11 If you are a person in need and you call or visit our church office, then the Care Ministry seeks to establish an initial connection. We offer a listening ear and prayer support, followed by resources that will educate and provide you with support for special life circumstances.
